I love to sew! I am pretty sure this is not news to most people who know me. So naturally, my children want to sew with me. My little man has made a couple of “sleeping bags” for his Webkins and he likes to sew comic book stuff to his old shirts. I figured maybe it is about time I actually sit down and teach my children how to sew…at least the basics. Thus began my hunt for simple tutorials that my 10 year old son (and his 8 year old best-friend-who-is-a-girl) could understand. My goal was to find things they could actually create start to finish…with my help, of course.
Here are 10 Simple Sewing Tutorials that I found. Most are very beginner projects, but some require a little extra parental help. Happy sewing and enjoy!
