I love to create because I can knock off expensive things that I can’t justify spending a ton of money on, while putting my own personal spin on something, Plus, when I’m being creative, I can forget all the demands of everyday life.

Such a great list! I totally agree with all 100 reasons. My favorite part is when you tell someone you made something, and they are genuinely in awe that you are so talented 😉 To those of us who do craft in some shape or form, it’s hard to believe that a lot of people just don’t!

I love to create because it feels like it connects me to the past somehow because I am working with my hands to create something special. It does not happen a lot in this modern time since it is so easy to buy something cheap. It is no longer a necessity to make it yourself. This just makes it that much more special.

I LOVE to take things and turn them into something else!! A silverware tray for a jewelry organizer! Scrap wood into a scarf rack! An old bicycle rim became the center for our wind chime. Its fun, and it keeps the childrens imagination flowing! Not to mention, it puts good use to otherwise “junk” laying around the house 🙂 A little paint (or nail polish) can go a long ways with an active imagination and a few helpful supplies.
