Ucreate's Top Ten for 2009!!

We’ve all been flooded with amazing tutorials in 2009!
This has also been the year of the “craft blog boom” {because a gazillion craft blogs have started in 2009-which I think is so great} and I am truly overwhelmed and excited by all of the talent and emails many of you share with me and my readers!
THANK YOU!

I LOVE every single tutorial that is featured here, but I also thought it would be fun to share the most popular ten on Ucreate this year {using Google Analytics to determine the most hits and links from each}!

Are you ready for the top ten?!

{winners please feel free to grab the trophy button,
oh and I will be contacting you to send you a surprise, too!}

Here we go:

#10 Oven Hand Mitt by The Idea Room

Amy’s hand mitt tutorial is fun, different from your regular hot pad, and makes a great gift for anyone! Her fabulous photography skills really make her projects stand out!

#9 Raingutter Bookshelves by Raising Olives

These bookshelves were a huge hit! I seriously wonder how many playrooms across the country have these. It’s an incredible way to display books where kids can easily reach, inexpensive, and a super cool way to decorate!

#8 Monogram Wreath by Nesting Place

Monograms have definitely been a huge trend this year and a perfect way to spice up any wreath! Simply. Gorgeous.

#7 Felt Mr. Potato Head by Make It and Love It

Ashley is known for her "wow" tutorials and this certainly is one of them! It's a super fun take on a classic toy that all kids love.

#6 Pinecone Wreath by V& Co.

This fall wreath tutorial had many searching for pinecones {just read all the comments...haha}. Vanessa makes this step-by-step tutorial look simple and readers want to give it a try!

#5 Bow Holder Frame by Nannygoat

When Kathryn shared this tutorial on Ucreate I think every mother of young girls wanted to thank her! We all want a darling yet simple way to organize all of those bows and flowers!

#4 Headboard Bench by the Lettered Cottage

When I first saw this tutorial I had to do a double take because I couldn't believe this bench had a headboard on it. Only Layla and her hubby could pull this off! AMAZING.

#3 Oscar's Quiet Book at Homemade by Jill

The details on the amazing pages of this quiet book are very detailed and fun! Jill provides many templates and shows you page by page. Priceless.

#2. Table Fort Cover by Make It And Love It

I don't know a little kid who would not love to play in a table tent! The possibilities are endless when it comes to decorating and personalizing it to your child.

The 2009 Ucreate Tutorial of the Year award...

Char's tutorial has been seen everywhere among crafters and has been a huge part of the ruffle craze on craft blogs. I also want to thank Char again for being my first guest blogger {your first prize gift will be in the mail soon}!
