I had the opportunity to attend the International Quilt Market in Salt Lake City this year and it was a wonderful time…extremely overwhelming with so many rockin’ vendors…but it was a blast! Instead of sharing the GAZILLION pics I took, I’ll just share some of my very favorite moments…
This Sandi Henderson booth was one of my faves! So gorgeous!!
I had to get a pic with the Dewberry’s, of course! You already know how I feel about Joel and Laurie…two of my favorite people!
How beautiful is this booth by mother/daughter duo Camille and Bonnie!?
I had the chance to finally meet Camille in person and she’s just the sweetest!!
Funny thing, as we were walking to quilt market we ran into two adorable strangers on the street and we started talking and having a fun conversation about shoes…well, come to find out later it was Chelsea from Pink Fig {who I’ve worked with many times} and her fabulous friend Lucy from Hot Scott Patterns! Becky and I hit it off immediately with these two gals…
…and can I just show you Chelsea’s rad shoes?!!
LOVE Jana from Izzy & Ivy…WOW she’s creative and fun!! I can’t wait to get started on a few of her darling patterns!
The Michael Miller booth had a super hero theme and was incredible!!!
I have to say meeting my friends Jennifer Paganelli in person and Carla from the Scientific Seamstress was one of the highlights of the whole experience! Seriously…even though she had a huge line for her book signing she was so awesome to stop and visit. I could hang out with these two ladies all day!
I was surrounded by so much inspiration and it was awesome to see many new trends and fabric lines!! Many people ask what my favorite thing to create is. The answer? QUILTS!
Get ready to see many fabulous quilt features on Ucreate this week!

ReplyDeleteTo Dara,Store your quilts in pillowcases or something that is not air tight .Never plastic. There are always quilt appraisers at bigger quilt shows that can tell you the worth of these quilts.Yours although not super old look in very good condition and are patterns that might be desirable.
