Ah, I remember making these when I was a student. About 13 years ago, they were so popular in Germany. We would hook the threads with a safety pin to our jeans and tie them under the table while pretending to listen to the teacher :-)I had two books with lots of complicated patterns for them.
So fun!! I love all of the friendship bracelets that are popping up. My girls love making them :)
