  6. I got my first real sewing machine this year. I got the Brother sq9050. I am currently working on my first small tote bag. I can't wait till I get it finished. I have recently figured out that I have a fabric and button addiction. I would really like to combine the 2 into a really pretty quilt, I just haven't figured out what it should look like. My favorite quilts are the storybook patchwork type quilts. Thanks for this great post.

  9. Speaking of sewing, do you have any good links for help for sergers? I bought one close to a year ago because I had progressed in my sewing skills, but I am so intimidated by the serger. I've not used it yet. :(

I tried teaching my self to crochet. I may have to start this up again too.

  16. Thanks for the info! I really want to learn to sew! I would love to learn to make some of my own clothes. In high school I took Home Ec and I made a dress and a pair of sweat pants. Both super easy, but I had lots of help with the pattern! That was over 10 years ago and I have no clue how to begin again!
