Ucreate: Deck Reveal with HomeAdvisor!

I’ve been postponing the reveal of my deck project with the folks at HomeAdvisor for a big reason…SNOW!

I live in an area near the mountains where the weather is very unpredictable and I’ve been waiting for it to melt before I take those amazing after pictures….well, it won’t melt!!

So instead of those perfect after pictures, we are getting real today.

Here’s what my deck looks like today.

The great thing…my Trex deck is fabulous with the snow. Very low-maintenance and snow friendly!

Do you remember what our deck looked like before we started the remodel? (see part one here) It was not very safe and was constantly giving us those slivers…ouch!

Now…no more slivers and a sturdy deck! We could not be happier with the end results…

The only problem? Waiting for the weather to warm up so we can go outside and live on our new deck!!

The vinyl railing looks fabulous with our vinyl fence!

We no longer have loose boards and narrow stairs…

…and we’re so excited that we don’t have to restain every year due to weather damage!

We are beyond thrilled that we had the opportunity to work with the fabulous people at Home Advisor. They were wonderful to work with and I’m still shocked at how easy our deck project was from beginning to end.
