Have you ever used a knitted washcloth before?
Okay, so I didn’t think I would ever buy one because they seemed “old lady-ish” when I was a brand new mom. I had a neighbor give me a couple as a gift one year and I have to say they are the best washcloths ever!
They’re strong for those hard to scrape off messes on the counter, they wash up well, and last for a very long time. Mine is going on 10 years!
My adorable grandmother (who is about 80) has started making these recently to keep her busy and I said “Grandma, you should sell these! Washcloths like this are hard to find.” Let me show you what I’m talking about. Here’s a Christmas set she just finished….
Well I want to brag about my amazing Grandmother for one sec. She wins awards and ribbons for her work every year. She has a passion for knitting and knits afghans, booties, baby sets, washcloths, you name it. Her name is Barbara and she is one of the sweetest, funniest ladies on this planet. How did I get so blessed to have her in my life?!!
Here’s another one…
Beautiful Patterns, colors, and they are all 8”x8” which is the perfect size!
Here’s the thing. My grandmother like so many others, is clueless when it comes to technology! So here’s where I come in. I opened up a shop called “Grandma’s Knitting Shop” and told her I would take care the technological stuff if she takes care of the creative stuff!!
Oh, and is she creative! Come check out the MANY other knitted items in her shop!!
Grandma also handed me this little poem written down on a piece of paper and I decided to design a free printable for any of you to use…
Oh, and it comes in lots of different colors to choose from!! Perfect gift for those who are hard to buy for!
