I have a new passion.
I cannot stop drawing.
I drive down the street and think “I want to draw that!” or I’ll go shopping and want to draw a cute set of dishes or a vintage vase…ya, it’s a new obsession.
Don’t you love that about creating though? I love that feeling of learning something new and having such a new passion for it all you want to do is create!
I definitely have “fall” on the mind lately and drew this little tree. I decided to share it on our Instagram and Facebook pages and the response I received was wonderful. Many said they could imagine stitching it with fall colors, and others said they wanted to color it!
So because I was inspired by YOU, I decided to offer my design as a free pattern for you all. I have it available as a coloring page (which you can also use as a stitching pattern)…
…and I was playing around with watercolor and decided to offer the finished project as a printable in case any of you would like it finished!
or STITCH IT?
My talented sister-in-law is in the process of stitching this pattern for her home. She’s incredible!

When I saw this I thought of appliqué especially the leaves. I’m no good at drawing but I think I can make a pattern if that’s okay then stitch the tree in place.

Yes I agree with some of the other posts this is wonderful and you should do this again and for more then seasons. But if nothing else then yes the seasons. But could also include some holidays too. Just think of all the cute things you can come up with for Valentine’s Day, St. Pat’s Day, Easter, 4th of July, need I say them all. But don’t forget Mother’s Day, Father’s Day and Grandparents Day.
