I love to journal and doodle. Calling it a hobby makes me sound less crazy, but truly it’s an addiction. An addiction to Sharpie pens & sketch books. My all time favorite sketch book is in the art supply aisle at Wal-Mart. It’s just a black canvas book with thick blank pages. It’s perfect for me…on the inside. But I am not a “plain black cover” type of person. Let’s add a little personalization, shall we?
I recently received the Double-Sided Adhesive Kit from Silhouette and was so excited to use it to make Valentines {after all, it is for a February Silhouette Promotion}. I got my Valentine’s done and hunkered down with my journal, Sharpie pen and heated blanket. Then I began wondering how that Double-Sided Adhesive would stick to the canvas on my journal. Well, I had to try…and I LOVE the outcome! Check it out!

So many possibilities! I was thinking of doing a big canvas next…and a vase with a cool glitter design! So much fun.
