Fabric Frame Tutorial

Hi there! I’m Sada over from my blog – Sada Lewis : My {Online} Notebook! I am so excited to be a guest blogger today! My husband and I just moved into our first home back in April. It has been sooo much fun and sooo expensive! You probably hear me on that one right?! I am trying to find inexpensive and creative ways to spruce up our home and make it feel like our own. Our kitchen was updated by the previous owner so luckily all I have to do is add some fun splashes of color here and there.
I’m not a big fan of chaos on the front of the fridge so I decided to make some cute magnetic fabric frames using what I already had in my craft stash 🙂

Cute Fabric
Cork Board
Fabric Glue
Foam Brush
Heavy Cardstock
Mod Podge
Magnetic Tape
 Template

You can grab the templates I used at my blog.
Only glue down three sides so that one is open for you to insert pictures or a mini graphic print. Be sure to only glue along the very edge so that a small lip of your fabric remains glue-less so photos can slide nicely under it. Now your frame should look like this –
Add a cute picture and you’re done!
You can even create a mini gallery wall on your fridge!

I also left some of the frames with the cork board backing so I can pin important notes on them.
Head on over to my blog to download the templates and a free graphic print for your frame!
