DIY Heart Photo Collage

Heart Canvas Photo Collage by U CreateToday I want to share a priceless photo gift idea for that hard-to-buy-for person that seems to have everything! These make a great gift for grandparents for Mother’s and Father’s Day, too.

Create a DIY Heart Photo Collage any size you’d like. Grab a large canvas, a mini canvas, or any fun surface and use this tutorial to customize it!

Photo Heart Collage Tutorial

SUPPLIES:

  • lots of favorite photos
  • canvas
  • self-adhesive photo paper ( or plain photo paper if you don’t mind glueing)
  • scissors
  • printer (we love the PIXMA iP8720 Crafting Printer)

INSTRUCTIONS:

Begin by gathering your photos and making them into a collage. There are many free programs out there (I like to use Pic Monkey). Go to PicMonkey, design a collage, upload your pics and you can change them to black/white, sepia, leave them in full color — be creative!

Next,  you’re going to print the photos. I just printed them out on a reg sized sheet of adhesive photo paper and the size ended up being about 2 1/2 inches per photo.

Cut out the photos and arrange them onto your canvas in a heart shape.

When you feel comfortable with the shape, simply adhere to the canvas.

Now you have a beautiful display of precious photos to add to your home decor or to give as a gift to someone special!
