My new bathroom is finished!
It is so nice to have a “non-creepy” bathroom that constantly gets used now!
This basement bathroom is bright, crisp, clean, and we absolutely love how it turned out.
Let’s get started with the before and after pictures…
…the old medicine cabinet? Gone. I used some pallet wood to frame a plain mirror, and it looks so much better!
I made a DIY Pallet shelf and put it on the blank wall above the toilet…
…more storage and the pallet wood matches the mirror pallet border! So I’m still not 100% happy with the old shower but it looks way better with the lighter walls.
I can’t believe how paint can make such a difference!
The cabinets! We painted them white with Sherwin-Williams SW 7005 Pure White, added new hardware and they are as good as new!
The paint for the wall is SW 6211 Rainwashed from Sherwin-Williams. I don’t think we could have picked a better paint color for this bathroom. It’s peaceful, calm, and we are crazy about the light blue-ish, green color.

I actually like the shower! I love the whole redo! We are moving and I know there will be plenty of painting to do!
I would like to makeover the bedroom of my two youngest son’s ~ it has 1970’s paneling and needs to be updated.

My bedroom!
Our bathroom in the lower level needs some love. It’s “beachy”, but in a 1990s dolphin wallpaper sort of way. Yuck.
What a pretty color! I’d like to re-do the kids’ bedroom.
My bedroom needs a makeover. But then again one of these days I need to paint over the marker on my son’s walls and the bathroom and just about every other room in the house…

I would LOVE to paint my living room. It is this awful peachy color. I would love a nice gray or greige color.
My 7 yr old daughter’s room desperately needs a makeover. I moved in 14 years ago and it was raspberry from floor to ceiling. I painted the ceiling white, then sponged the walls the same color to tone it down. It looks better but it needs more of a solid color and one that she picks.

I really (really!) need to paint our play room. It’s lovely flat white paint, and though we’ve only lived here six months, my kids have thrashed it! (and since it’s flat, I can’t clean it!)
We close on our house in 3 weeks and every room needs love. Still trying to find that perfect look for the living room though.

I’d love to redo my whole house, but I think I would start with my Kitchen/Dining Room. I want to make it one big room by knocking out the wall between. So there would be plenty to repaint when I get that done and remove the 1980’s wallpaper.
