DIY Mothers Day Vase

Mother’s Day always feels like the perfect time to make something heartfelt and beautiful. How to Make It

1. Start with a clean vase.
   Wash the glass vase with warm soapy water and dry it completely. Wipe it down well so there are no fingerprints, lint, or dust left on the surface.
2. Plan your flower design.
   Before gluing anything down, arrange your pressed flowers against the vase to decide where you want them. A scattered garden-inspired look works beautifully for this project. Mix larger flowers with a few smaller blooms and sprigs of greenery so the vase feels balanced but not too perfect.
3. Work in small sections.

6. Seal the design. When all of the flowers are in place, brush a very light coat of Mod Podge over the top. Use gentle strokes and don’t overwork the brush. Let it dry completely.
7. Add a second coat if needed. If you want a smoother finish or extra hold, apply one more thin coat after the first has dried. Let the vase cure fully before adding water.
8. Fill with fresh flowers. Once the vase is dry, add water and arrange a bouquet of soft spring flowers. Pale pink roses, white filler flowers, carnations, and fresh greenery all work especially well for the same delicate look as the finished project.
