Hello U Create readers. I am Aniko from Place Of My Taste. I am so excited to be here today sharing an easy tutorial to make these pretty and decorative crepe paper rose eggs. I know that Easter is just a few weeks away but you still have time to make these gorgeous eggs to decorate your home with them. I got a bouquet of roses for me the other day and they were just amazingly gorgeous and inspiring so I took my camera and started photographing them. I totally got inspired by working with them to make these crepe paper rose eggs. Sometimes that’s all it takes…looking at something pretty to create beautiful.

– plastic eggs
– crepe paper
-hot glue gun
-some time:-)

To make the roses , all you need to do is to cut a piece of crepe paper and twist it, then roll it side ways. You can cut a bigger chunk and twist and roll it while you are watching your favorite night show. Then cut it to smaller pieces. Both ways will get you to the same result.

Once you have a lot of these crepe paper roll-ups, grab your hot glue gun, glue the eggs {little patches at the time} and add the crepe paper twists that you already made with circle motion onto your egg. Cover the whole egg with small crepe paper”roses”.

Easter eggs can be so many different styles…decorative, fun, colorful, pastel…really up to your personal style. I am a real color lover and I don’t mind going bold sometimes. One of my favorite color is yellow, my projects are definitely show you that. However, this spring I decided to rather go pastel colors then bright colors inside of my home.
I mixed pink, white and yellow crepe papers for my eggs. I mixed matched these colors on the eggs to keep them interesting.

In my dining room I have three white picture frames and I usually change decor or printables in them for every season. I took out the glasses off the picture frames and I glued my eggs into them for a perfect Easter /Spring decoration.

I think they absolutely gorgeous and they make me happy every time I look at them

What do you think? Will you roll some crepe papers tonight?I hope I inspired you!
