DIY Carrot Candy Bags for Easter Baskets

DIY Easter carrot treat bags made with orange tissue paper and candy eggs displayed in a wicker Easter basket

These adorable DIY Easter carrot treat bags are a simple and fun way to package Easter candy for friends, neighbors, or classroom gifts. Made with just a few inexpensive supplies, they come together in minutes and make the cutest addition to an Easter basket or spring celebration.

Fill them with jelly beans, chocolate eggs, or your favorite Easter treats for a festive little gift that looks just like a carrot!

Supplies

Orange tissue paper

Green ribbon or green tissue paper

Clear treat bags (optional but helpful)

Easter candy (jelly beans, chocolate eggs, etc.)

Scissors

Tape or glue dots

Twine or ribbon for tying

Step 1

Step 2

Adding candy eggs to tissue paper to make Easter carrot treat bags

Place a small handful of candy in the center of the tissue paper square. Gather the tissue paper around the candy and gently twist the top to form a carrot shape.

Pull the bottom down slightly to create a pointed carrot tip. The candy will naturally help form the carrot shape inside. Tape the backside if you have any holes!

Step 3

Adding green tissue paper carrot tops to Easter treat bags

Tie a piece of green ribbon or twine around the twisted top. You can stop there or you can add the carrot leaves using the pic above.

Your Easter carrot treat bags are ready to gift!
