This month’s Michaels Makers challenge is all about florals! Nothing screams spring more than beautiful, colorful flowers and I’m showing you THREE different DIY Spring floral arrangements that are very easy to make with beautiful results!
WATERING CAN FLORAL ARRANGEMENT
Let’s start with my favorite. I found this watering can at Michaels and decided to turn it into a vase! I grabbed some roses in mint green, turquoise, and light tan — bought some plant fillers and got to work!
Supplies: watering can, wire cutters, foam block, flowers. Instructions: Cut stems to fit in can. Place foam block inside. Begin arranging the largest flowers and end with the smallest flowers/fillers. Simply poke the stems into the foam block. I told you it was easy!
DIY SUCCULENT ARRANGEMENTS
Supplies: small vase or container, wire cutters, foam block, succulent plants. Instructions: Cut stems to fit in can. Place foam block inside. Simply poke the stem(s) into the foam block.
KITCHEN TABLE MASON JAR CENTERPIECE
Supplies: mason jars (found these kitchen ones at Michaels), wire cutters, foam block, medium sized flowers and fillers. Instructions: Cut stems to fit in jars. Place foam block inside each jar. Simply poke the flower stems into the foam block. Begin with the largest flowers and end with the smallest.
This is proof ANYONE can do simple floral arrangements! They brighten up your home instantly for springtime!
