Itty Bitty Cupcake Cones Tutorial

Itty Bitty Cupcake Cone Tutorial
I thought that these itty bitty cupcake cones were so cute…

mini cups joy

…and had to have them!
I decided to make them into cupcakes and take them to a potluck BBQ! They are the perfect size for kids ( and adults!) and were a big hit!

Favorite frosting

Make your cake batter and preheat your oven to your recipes instructions.
Place one mini cupcake cones into each of the cups in your mini muffin pan.
Fill the cones a little less than half way. Trust me. Batter will be everywhere, if you don’t!

Ours cooked in 10 minutes.
How did we get the frosting to look like soft serve ice cream?

I decorate with the Betty Crocker Cake Decorating Set, I bought at Bed Bath and Beyond (baby steps people, baby steps). The trick to frosting the cupcakes this way is to leave off the decorative tip and just use the red plastic top the that come with the set. Squeeze the frosting in the middle of the cupcake in three light squeezes.
It may take a little practice, but it looks so cute!
