Hi I’m Sierra from the Blue Robin Cottage and I am beyond excited to be here with you today! Its always a huge honor to visit Ucreate! 🙂
Today I’m going to give you the deets on how to make these lovely lace socks…
They make great stocking stuffers or a pretty little addition to a Christmas dress
Raise your hand if you love easy tutorials?!
Phew!
This tutorial is most definitely for you then!
We are talking 3 steps here!
Are you ready?!
First things first: grab your supplies!
Knee High Socks.
I found these for around $4 for 2 pairs at Target:
Lace Trim:
Enough to cover the entire top edge of your socks. I used less than a yard for each pair.
Step 1: Pin the lace all the way around your sock about a 1/2 to an 1 inch down from the top.
Step 2: Time to sew!!
Stretch the sock by tugging on the end as you sew a straight stitch down the center of the lace. This ensures you still retain the stretchiness of the sock.
Step 3: Add embellishments!
I added some festive Christmas bows to match my daughter’s Christmas dress to complete the look. 🙂
And…you are finished!
See…wasn’t that simple?
Thank you so much for having me today!! 🙂
I hope to see you soon at the Blue Robin Cottage where you’ll find these and other projects that might just suit your fancy… 😉

I love this. And if you put the ribbons and other embellishments onto alligator clips you could swap them over everytime you wore them so they would always look different.
Thanks for sharing!
