Recently we threw this awesome baby shower and everyone loved that we replaced a standard guest book with this adorable “Sign the Onesie” idea. I love when something so easy and cute is a huge hit!
Supply List:
-newborn onesie
-heat transfer & digital craft cutter
-sharpie markers
Step #1: Created a heat transfer with a digital craft cutter.
Step #2: Iron the design on according to manufacture instructions.
Step #3: Place a piece of cardstock inside the onesie.
Step #4: Create a sign inviting your guests to leave their mark for baby.
Why stop at creating just one onesie? Doll up the whole package and display them on the sign-in table.

Love the idea of framing it like in a shadow box. She will have to wear it at least once, though!
Take a picture of her in it and then put it in the shadow box! Super cute idea!
I did this for my baby shower back in 2008. We now have it framed (like a sports jersey) and hung up on the walls in his room! Love!
Oh wow…that is a great idea! Thanks for sharing.
Have tried to use a sharpie for a sample and it is hard to write on without being messy. Any suggestions on what to do to make it easier for people to sign?
You could also use fabric markers. I think they’d work great!
Do Sharpie stains wash off the fabric or are they permanent?
They’re permanent. You can also use fabric markers.
Could you theoretically if you didn’t have an iron on transfer write the “I am Loved” in permanent marker as well as everyone signing it with a permanent marker?
